I have been planting seedsavers seeds this morning. I really like the new reusable adhesive on the seed packets. It saves me having to cut open the packet and keeps the seeds from falling out of a partially used packet.

I keep coming back to Seed Savers! Their seeds always come up and our harvest is excellent. The real winners are the transplants! One time two of my transplants arrived dead, but when I wrote them, they replaced my plants immediately and sent 6 of each instead of just 1! The only con is the shipping costs for transplants...but I just adapt! It’s still worth it.

I bought three packs of seedsavers seed for spring at a local place. All were fine in terms of amount of seed, except the mixed lettuce which had a minimal amount of seed. When I went to take it back thinking something must have happened, every single seed pack was like that! 250 lettuce seeds is very little when it comes to leaf lettuce and growing it for fresh salad. At $3 a pack, I can't help but feel ripped off. Especially when I can get three times if not more from certified heirloom seed sellers online for just a much!... read more

I’m a little confused/disappointed with my order. I ordered the mixed bachelor buttons (and many other seeds) and am about to plant. As I open, I notice there aren’t many seeds. The little bugggers are small, so I took a sample and counted. Even if I quadrupled that sample number, it appears I’m nowhere close to the 250 seeds stated on package. Am I missing something? I can send pic, if needed.
