Pointless to schedule appt. You still have to wait for all the others that just walked in right before you arrive. Although they only had 2 available for the day and you hear all the walk ins say no they don't have an appt.
I scheduled an eye appointment some weeks ago at your 2406 W.Roosevelt Blvd, Monroe Location with Doctor Nilpa Patel and overall I had a decent exsperience so i have no complaints about the Doctor. The issue is the Receptionist. I was contacted last week and informed my Trial contacts were in. So a few days ago I went to the Monroe Location and the Receptionist just gave me the Contacts without having the Doctor actually check my eyes with the Contact's in it to make sure that everything was okay. I am very disappointed. The eye exam was fine. Quick efficient. Being on medicaid I was unaware that glasses were not available. Now that I've had my exam i find that it is nearly impossible to get glasses from another location, due to them taking my medicaid.. I have since called about a dozen times with no answer or return call. This place SUCKS. I am not quick to leave a poor review but this has me very upset as I am clearly in need for glasses and cannot get any
Initially I was pleased with the eye exam I received. What has changed my mind is that the MD dated my Rx to expire in 1 year at her discretion when I usually receive a prescription valid for 2 years. NC law mandates that a contact lens prescription be valid for AT LEAST 1 year. I'll be going elsewhere for a contact lens Rx, not here.
Very nice staff and doctor. Did not have to wait long at all to be seen.
