**** had his team come out and install pre-finished 3/4 hickory flooring in our kitchen, dining room and living room. They had to weave in the new flooring into an existing floor AND completely go around a set of stairs and meet back in the kitchen. Not only is the weaving in to the existing floor not noticeable, the blending of the 2 rooms at the stairs was perfect. If you have hardwood flooring to install, don't do it yourself, hire **** and get a perfect job in just a few days.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! We purchased a home that we paid extra for this company to refinish the floors prior to us moving in. They did not properly sand, stain or seal the hardwoods under the bathroom vanities, clearly there is exposed bare wood and the other they did not even attempt to match the stain color! To add to, there is stain smeared all over the white baseboards and I have been finding chunks of painters tape everywhere; it’s like they used the tape wherever they felt like it but still managed to slosh stain all up ... read more
My landlord just hired them to fix a hole in my wood floor that was there before I moved in. They were scheduled to come out on a Wednesday to evaluate the work, but showed on Tuesday instead. Once the work was approved to go through, my landlord kept trying to schedule a time for them to come out and do the work, but they took over a week to finally confirm a time/day they could begin (which was "the next day, oh and the tenant has to move all her living room furniture out before we come out"). Sedaris did small but specialty job for me where I had removed walls. They were able to match my existing flooring exactly. They took the time to do the job right and I really appreciate that. I had a horrible experience with another very large well known flooring company here in Raleigh and was fearful of that again. Sedaris renewed my faith so I thank you Paul.
Very happy We already had hardwoods in our dining room, and they installed new flooring in the rest of our downstairs and refinished the dining room. It is impossible to tell where the old floors end and the new ones begin. They did a fantastic job and we were very happy.
Neighbors Floor Bubbled up I live in Forest Hills and my neighbor had Sedaris Hardwoods install hardwoods all through the house and in 2 rooms it looks like the floor is rising up. From what I've seen, their follow up after the installation of floors and after they recieve payment is poor.
