On June 16, 2026, we discovered that our storage unit had been broken into sometime between June 7 and June 16. When we arrived at our unit, the lock was missing, the unit had been ransacked, and nearly all of our belongings had been stolen. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Public Storage. My fiancé and I have now had our belongings stolen TWICE from our unit, and the way this situation has been handled has been completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the facility’s security gate has been broken after someone reportedly ran through it, yet there appears to be little urgency to resolve the issue or improve security measures.
