The other positive reviews look fake. I cut over to Security One from ADT years ago and regret it. Every time I have to interact with Security One it seems like a shell company. Your bill will come from someone else, there is no online billing (whaaaa?), there is no listed operator number to put on your Police Alarm Permit Application in LA, no online account to check status or billing, long wait times on their phone number (which is the same number for all "locations"). Scammy customer experience over all.
BAIT AND SWITCH: AVOID this company until they stop selling their contracts to other vendors. I hired Security One because of their previously good ratings and the recommendation of several friends in law enforcement, but recently found my account had been sold to Safe Home Security, a company that rates a one out of five on the Consumer Affair Website and has numerous Better Business Bureau complaints lodged against it. Had my system installed about a year ago and I love the system and their service. Highly recommend.
Do not use this company. I finally gave in and set an appointment for a quote and before they even came to my home they RAN MY CREDIT WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION!! I don't even know how they got my info! I know nothing about this company, all I new was that the sales reps were calling a couple times a week saying they would make my monthly bill lower than ADT and lifetime free equipment if bad and batteries and free service calls. Terrible customer service. I was on the phone for an hour calling multiple numbers trying to get a hold of Joe the sales guy or Chad the manager. These characters pulled my credit report without my authorization. They rave about an A-plus on the BBB, I don't see how. I canceled the installation due to poor customer service and no direct communication with the sales rep. Stay away!
