We had an extremely disappointing experience with Security First Title. Dawne was our primary point of contact, and throughout the transaction we promptly provided every document and requirement the title company requested. After weeks of working toward closing, we received an email from Dawne just two days before the scheduled closing stating that Security First Title would no longer be moving forward with the transaction. When it’s business as usual, it shouldn’t be difficult to get a good review however, when a significant mistake is made, which does happen in the real world, is typically when a company’s or person’s reputation is made Mr. Schroeder and first security title I believe has earned a good one
Clowns at this place, I didn’t hire them directly yet still had to deal with them. The house I was purchasing contract got voided, it took 8 days for these clowns to even send me an email on returning my earnest. Now it’s another 1-3 business days for them to deposit it back to my account. Let’s see if they can even hold their word to that.
Great title company. Just had a closing there and went very smoothly. I recommend them!
Awful service. Didn't warn that closing could take 3+ hours (with no mortgage, liens, anything like that? Ok), claimed WE should have been better prepared for this sort of delay, just overall tried to shift blame anywhere but themselves
