I have a background spending many years as a crisis worker on the front lines. When my old therapist retired, I needed someone who could understand the complexity of this role while also not making therapy a consultation group and being able to attend to the trauma of my covid experience. Secure base provided an approach that worked for me, both in terms of knowledge and skill. I recommend them to anyone who needs trauma informed support, especially for those in the first responder role
