My husband and I came last year for the first time and the staff was so excellent that we decided to go again. We like to have the option of the secrets side which a bit quiet and then if we want walk over to breathless side and have a bit of a party atmosphere. We booked an ocean front preferred club room and on day 2, Esmerelda (the manager) asked us if we want to upgrade to a master suit at no charge for being repeat customers. We had an absolutely amazing stay at Secrets Riviera Cancun! Everything was perfectly organized from the moment we arrived until the day we left. We spent our 39th anniversary there and just returned from spending our 40th there. The place is always great. Everything is top notch. The service is great, especially are poolside waiter Nedel. He's been the absolute best two years running. You need a drink he's your man when your drinks about to run out he's there with another one. Very friendly and very respectful. Can't wait to order drinks from him next year
I am writing this to warn anyone considering a booking or membership with Unlimited Vacation Club (UVC) or their associated resorts (Secrets/Breathless/Hyatt). Their internal incompetence and predatory business practices will leave you stranded in a crisis.Due to a sudden family emergency, a 3-night stay booked for June 24–27 had to be canceled.
