I love Secret Gardens. They have the best plants and a lovely setting to shop in. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful.
We are new to Port Townsend and Secret Gardens was recommended to us for compost. We brought our Toyota Tacoma and asked for 1/2 cu yard. The woman loaded it, but when we got home we realized the load wasn't a full 1/2 cu yard (we've loaded this truck MANY times and well know what a 1/2 cu yard looks like). We returned and talked to the owner who said, "Our bucket is 1 cu yard and I load half of it." That was it. It was as if she thought we were lying. No offer to top off our load or anything. Working at Secret Gardens has been and continues to be amazing. As anyone who walks thru our front gate can tell, all of us here love our job! And our boss! The customers are almost always cheerful and happy and we in turn share our pride and enthusiasm with them!
