The PSW and nursing staff were very caring and supportive. They have a difficult job dealing with so much need every day . The food was of good quantity and quality. I believe my brother Rick was fortunate in a bad situation to have spent his final days at this facility
For background my uncle has little to no movement in his arms and wrists. Since being here he's had his feeding tube ripped out multiple times we have been called by a lady saying he was in hand cuffs not knowing the difference between sweat bands around his wrist and handcuffs Eye infections rashes And mysterious "rashes" Late reports about going to hospitals don't send your loved ones here.
Nobody wants to see their loved one have to go to a long term care home but some times it’s the only option. I am grateful that my mother got into this one. She was only there for a couple of months but she was treated so well by everyone on staff. There was always activities for the residents to do and the meals were all very good. I wish the rooms were bigger but at the end of the day all that matters is that the residents are being treated well. I give them 5 stars in that area.
Zero stars! Horrible place to have your family at. All the workers care about is getting ppl in bed so they can relax and do paperwork. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Joke of a home! Had to wait over 20min when the PSW was back from break before my family member was changed and dressed. Superior staff never in or never wanted to answer questions! There are two PSWs we loved who went above and beyond and one was new to the home. Otherwise all PSW’s could care less!
Extreme micromanagement! You can’t trust anyone. The environment here is overwhelming. At the end of the day residents get the care they need but I feel sorry for us staff. The managers act so almighty dictating each move. I don’t think anyone deserves to be treated unfairly and without us frontline workers… their wouldn’t be any support for the residents.
