Second Time Around is not worth it To me, this store is not worth the effort. Shopping: The racks are crowded, too close together, and poorly organized. Many of the clothes appeared to be very worn and/or outdated styles. The clothes are supposed to be organized by size, but they aren't. I found at least 3-4 different Womens' sizes in the same section of the rack. Consigning: The prices they're willing to put on the clothes definitely do not make it worth my effort to consign there. The best consignment store I have ever seen This place has two floors PACKED with great finds. I gfot most of my brand name maternity wardrobe here for less than 10% of retail! They have every kind of clothing you can imagine, and only accept the nicest stuff. I do find that the racks are a little close together, and it is not very handicap accessible, but the variety and quality at the LOW prices makes up for it. Great Store/ Creepy Guy, though I love this store, but the male who works there is a Creeper -- he seems to follow you around and watch everything that you do; he just has a weird demeener; I actually try to avoid going there when he's working. I love selling my items here and always have great success. I also love to shop for great finds here.
I love this store!! I can not believe the great deals that I find here on a regular basis. I buy so much of my children's clothing at 2nd time around, they always have really quality items. I even sold all of my maternity clothing and got really good prices for my stuff. Kris. Okemos
One of the best Consignment Shops EVER! I LOVE this store! They have a HUGE selection, tons of designer labels, and the prices are right!!! What I especially like are the childrens section. THey always have great items at INCREDIBLE prices!!! PROS: Awesome items! Easy to navigate! CONS: None
Best consignment shop in Lansing This store is still the best in town! There is so much stock to choose from with new items coming in everyday. Sometimes my clothes are turned down for consignment but the workers have to be choosey because of the volume of clothes that they have to look at and take in on a daily basis. this is a 2-fer Second Time Around is what I call a 2-fer. You can find some nice gently used clothing for your family here...AND you can get some cash by selling off some of your own genlty used clothing. This place is HUGE...just be sure to double check the items before you buy them...as they don't allow returns on most items.
Get the cash to shop! Personally, I love Second Time Around. You can count on finding good, quality clothing for ridiculously good prices (I would never, ever pay the amount of money most retail stores ask for things). They sell men's, women's, and children's items, as well as awesome jewelry and purses, with none of the junk that many consignment stores seem to carry. Consignment at Second Time Around a Poor Experience I just returned home from hauling some of my clothing to Second Time Around for resale and left thinking, boy this place has changed!! The entire process seemed unorganized. They could not find my number or another consignors - this seemed to cause a stir. Then the girl started going through my clothing.
