Antiques & Vintage Second Thyme Around is a quaint shop nestled between shops and restaurants in Grand Pacific Junction. We are going on our 4th year of business and it has been wonderful! There are 35 plus vendors in the shop, which brings a large variety to choose from. Two Large rooms of Antiques and Old Stuff plus our Ohio Handmade Room which features all local artists work. I loved being at Second Thyme Around ... I needed a large Crossroads original designs candle, the owner Connie was so helpful and she was able to get me my favorite scent Buttered Maple Syrup! If you haven't been here yet it's a must visit!
I was at this store on July 27th and was basically ignored. The place was dirty...there are cobwebs all over the ceilings and corners, fairly cluttered and disorganized, and carpets are dirty and stained (especially in the room with food products). I love antique stores, but this one seems to be more of reproduction items and clothing store - a misrepresentation in my eyes. Items have chips and cracks in them! Second Thyme Around is a great place to shop. I always find something to buy. The workers there are all so friendly and helpful. I've been to other shops, but Second Thyme Around is my shop of choice for vintage items.
This shop is a breathe of fresh air. The people with boutiques there are friendly and the shop owner is a pleasure. I bought my niece a jean vest with some white embroidery on the back and she loves it! She was so excited to show her mom. You can find all sorts of unique little treasures there. Highly recommend you visit each room as they all have different "Themes" since there are multiple shops in one.
I can not leave this shop without purchasing something... Love the prices... And have met several dealers and all seem very personable... Love this store and will be back again and again ... See you soon Second Thyme Around
Rude store owner. Attempted to park in the lot after 6pm to go to Taqueria like the signage states and the woman came out and told me I had to leave if I wasn't shopping at her store. I told her the sign states otherwise "Parking for Taqueria after 6pm." She got in my personal space and was extremely rude to me while I was carrying a baby and the baby gear! As I tried to put my baby back in the car to leave she stood in front of my car door and refused to move. I've never met such an unfriendly and aggressive person. Not ver... read more
