Second Generation Woods Stairs is by far the best stair company/contractor I've dealt with to date. After undergoing a major renovation in my home, Second Gen. was in and out and professional without compromising delivering a quality product that is beautiful. In the future, I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Given my recent encounters with alot of contractor's in building a new home I was pleased and amzed of the quality of workmanship and artistry that Second Generation Stairs did for my new home. Beware -- smooth talker will take your deposit and never be seen again! Took deposit and scheduled installation of wood railing but never showed up, did not call, did not answer calls. Finally rescheduled the install for the following week, confirmed the night before, but again did not show up, did not call, did not answer calls. A few days later agreed to refund cash deposit and would stop by that night to drop it off -- days later still no refund, no call, no answer. Second Generation Stairs did a beautiful job in my home. Thank you because my house now looks different, the railing up grade the value of my house.
I called for an estimate and they did not get back to me to make an appt. as the receptionist indicated they would. So I called them back 12 days later and was finally given an appt. The estimator was a no-show at the appt. After waiting an hour, I called to ask where he was and the receptionist could not locate him. She asked if I could make another appt. I said, "No." Never heard back, got an apology, courtesy call or anything.
