So disappointed in the decision to close the Second Cup on Nuns Island. This was the go-to local cafe and it's been around for many years. What a shame to have lost it. I really hope the upper management reconsiders their decision! (Though realistically, I know chances are slim to none).

Second cup de l'île des sœurs s'est détériorée en 8 mois. C'était un lieu agréable, paisible, propice à la conversation, la lecture, de ressourcement. Aujourd'hui, tout est irritable. D'abord la musique rock à l'intérieur comme sur la terrasse, si forte qu'il est difficile d'entendre nos propres conversation, de lire ou d'écrire. De plus, des odeurs de détergent et un employé qui gesticule vigoureusement entre les table pendant la dernière heure d'ouverture. On a l'impression d'être dans un vestiaire sportif.
