I ordered a tea and was surprised that they served me PC tea. The server said the owners just buy that as second cup no longer makes their own tea? I feel strange about paying four dollars for tea from Loblaws.
I’d like to be positive about my experience at this Canadian chain, but I cannot. When I ordered a take-out latte, the coffee was so scaldingly hot that I could not even begin to sip it for at least 10 minutes. Once it cooled, the taste was harsh and bitter, nothing like what I expected. I even popped off the lid to see what the contents looked like: there was no hint of foam at all, just a thin, dull brown liquid that resembled dishwater. I could not finish it.
