"WE ARE NOT AN ACTUAL ANIMAL HOSPITAL!" ~ Receptionist at sebring animal hospital. We are new in in Sebring and my dog had a small abscess burst, we came in looking for a quick examination and an antibiotic, the parking lot and lobby were empty aside from employees. We were told rather rudely that you must have an appointment, that they are not accepting new clients and they are not actually an animal hospital. My dog has not been eating or drinking all weekend. I called hoping to get him some help before it's too late and was bluntly told "we are not accepting new patients" so we are trying to spoon water and food into him...I am hoping and praying he doesn't die.
This morning, while driving to my stores in Highlands County, I found a baby kitten in the middle of hwy 27. Anyone that knows me knows, I love animals! I couldn’t just leave this kitten to be killed. I turned my car around, jumped out and ran into the middle of the highway. I grabbed the screaming kitten as fast as I could. My heart melted when I saw he was bleeding from his mouth. Finn, my 7 year-old Frenchton, received excellent care for 2 pretty bad corneal tears to his left eye. I won't take him anywhere else!
I used to take my animal to Sebring animal hospital and I was always very happy but every time I had an emergency and I have a lot of animals so I have emergencies from time to time they couldn't see me. So I was having to go to other veterinarians in the area for all my emergency services. The whole point of going to a veterinarian for the boring stuff like shots that I can get much cheaper elsewhere is to have a relationship so that when you have emergencies you have somewhere to go with somebody who knows you and your pet... read more

I recently moved to sebring and was looking for a veterinarian to take our pets. Both my experiences with this business was less than acceptable. We owned our own business and wouldn't accept such behavior from our employees. When they couldnt find our appt they were rude and instead of continuing to stand there. I walked out.
