I have nothing but gratitude for the staff at SRMC. They are exceptional people from housekeeping, dietary, to all the nursing staff and critical care physicians. However, there was one particular nurse practitioner by the name of Sara that should never be allowed to interact with patients. She is rude and apparently feels the need to show the staff how important she thinks she is. I was going to have a 02 placed on my face and I ask if I could have a sip of water before that happened. The people nurses and dr and tech and CNA S were great to work with. How ever we always battled with supplies. Worked there almost 5 yrs,2 yrs on the floors and almost 3 yrs in ambulatory. Had great vice directory and directory and nurses ect. Worked hard and was thankful for the opp. Then all of a sudden with out warning they took myself and quiet a few others to HR ,told us the postions were being elenimated because of buget cuts ,all because of there mismangerman of funds and not paying bills. I was at the Diagnostic Center today on 7 24/20. I had a mammography done during a bone density test. Detect that took care of me her name was Christina. He was very professional very caring very understanding and gentle. I felt very very comfortable with her. That is the type of person that should be in this profession. Just like Christina was. Thank you Christina. Sebastian Medical Center should be happy to have you there working with patients.
