Dr Carrasquillo truly cares for his patients wellbeing. He took his time to explain the procedure and answered all my questions patiently. Cannot thank him and his team enough for their care, professionalism, and kindness.
Stent tore in placement. 1% do. 2nd stent placed over area. Felt rushed at hospital to okay the catheterization. No choice as to what kind of stent-might have preferred bare metal due to less risk with upcoming surgery. AFIB emergency with cardioversion, elevated heart enzyme. Told him I have been smaller than expected in surgery. This being said he may have saved me from a massive heart attack as it was the LAD, aka the Widowmaker at 70 to 80% blockage, which surprised me as 13 months earlier only 10 to 15% in that vessel.
This was my first appointment the environment was very inviting, pleasant and the staff was very professional when I entered and exited the facility. Dr. Carrasquillo has bedside manners and was very attentive to my needs answering questions explaining the things that was asked. I never received the kind of introduction from a doctor patient perspective which made me happy and welcome that I chose him as my cardiologist.
