Had Fox come out to fix my mini split unit. The same issue came up with my system again and now all the sudden they said they dont work on those systems anymore so basically their warranty of work means nothing it seems. They canceled my appointment before even coming to look to see if it had anything to do with the work they previously did.
I do not recommend Fox/Gene Johnson. Companies like this are ruining the home services business--highly suggest finding a fair, small alternative service provider instead. I used because my former Fox tech (Mike) would come out same day, super knowledgable, quick fix. Today's experience was the tech showed up, clearly not familiar with my older system (which are very simple compared to modern boilers), quoted $650 diagnosis fee (this was never communicated when booking the trip), was able to talk down to $250 but said I had ... read more
