Great buying experience – After dealing with several Volvo dealers and the haggling game, I contacted Bob Byers Volvo in Downtown Seattle. I am in Portland and they were willing to work with me over the phone. They gave me a fair trade value and didn't low ball me like the others. I bought a new Volvo for $1800 under MSRP. No hassles and no BS. Another thing I liked was they didn't push to sell me extras. They offered them to me, but didn't push me to buy.
Ravenna Volvo's Service Dept. Lacks... The sales dept. at Ravenna Volvo is pretty good. I have had nothing but problems in having my car serviced at their service dept., I have since began driving 20 minutes out of my way to avoid their service dept. and have been satisfied every single time with the service dept. at Sandberg in Lynnwood. Pretty sad considering I live by Ravenna. (its that bad)
They are less than good. If you would like disappointment topped with unreliability, this is the place for you! Just be sure they put your car back together after that oil change so it doesn't come apart on the freeway at 60pmh! (They know what I'm talking about)
Great service, not too pushy – I just bought a XC60 from Bob Byers and have to say that I absolutely loved the service and most importanty... the car is amazing! Looks great, handles great, and fits the whole fam. Bob Byers really took care of us too (John was our guy I believe) - not too pushy, and really helped us make the right decision.
