Fantastic shop full of knowledgeable folks! Seattle Dive Tours fulfills a key niche in the Seattle diving community by helping folks who don't yet own all of their gear into the water. This shop is the only group that will bring gear to sites and back rather than having the diver visit the shop a day before and after the dive itself. The dive tours themselves are well-guided and the additional surface support is fantastic!
When I first started diving in Seattle, the local scene felt pretty male-dominated and not always welcoming. After a bad experience with an instructor at another shop, Seattle Dive Tours was the first place where I felt genuinely respected. I dove cove 2 with Cora (and dalton shore support - thanks!). The small groups and focused dive tours are wonderful here. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to try cold water diving and see the PNW underwater world!
Took the Open Water certification course with Seattle Dive Tours and highly highly recommend this company. All the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and they take safety seriously (making you feel secure) while still managing to make the experience fun! I had back surgery a bit over a year ago and they made accommodations without making me feel like I was a burden (thank you!). Just finished my AOW with them, fantastic outfit! Knowledgeable, safe, approachable, and appreciative of the Sound team. My instructor Drew did a great job and all the instructors providing shore support were fanatastic. Great value for class as they provide evrything you need and have the gear ready for you each day. Their email correspondence was prompt and answered any questions I had. Will definitely refer them to others and check out their tours in the future.
