Best place to go in Seattle for Cancer Care
In my season of daily visits from Dec- Feb I was 100% sure this was the place for me. Such caring and personal staff! You’re not just a number or customer, you actually have a name here! My radiation team on the 1st floor became my bffs. During radiation, I’d pray for each of them and it became intimate friendships in this chapter in my life. As I cried, they sympathized . Fourteen years ago we were at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance where Gerald received a stem cell transplant from an unrelated female donor to cure an aggressive form of Leukemia (AML). Gerald Sinkfield has been through too much to discuss but he is my walking miracle. Proof that God answers fervent prayer! SCCA doctors, nurses, researchers , technicians, pharmacists, phlebotomists, radiologists, receptionists, schedulers, and a host of others are truly a machine. They work well together and co-ordinate appt. day to get all the procedures and meeting with doctors done. Also, Dr. Martins and his team have saved my life. Five and a half years ago I was diagnosed with a rare gene mutation(Alk-lung cancer), stage 4 with mets. Four months ago I was told that they couldn’t find a live cancer cell in my body.
