Specialties Seasport Divers got its start back in 1986. A lot has changed since then, but one thing's always stayed the same -- our passion for scuba diving. In the years that we've been here, we've grown to be the biggest dive shop on the island. You can rent everything you need to explore the ocean: snorkels, diving tanks, and even beach chairs and boogie boards. We also sell all the spearfishing gear you might need. Was recommended to Seasport by my sister-in-law as well as our referral dive instructor, Patrick Price from Oahu and we loved it! Just finished a pm dive with the Seasport Diving crew. Absolutely phenomenal people. We even saw whales! Felt super comfortable as a new diver. Will be back for sure.
Me, my sister, and my dad went diving with Cole and Derrick last Thursday. The three of us agreed that this was probably the best dive shop crew we've ever went on a dive with! Even though we all left our NAUI cards at home, it wasn't an issue with them (they verified us online and by phone) and their upbeat, fun energy made the trip so much more enjoyable. Wonderful time yesterday and going again this afternoon. Our dive master Chloe was very professional. Felt very safe.
We have been coming to Kauai once a year since 2008. We have used Sea Sport at lest once, and sometimes twice per trip, because each experience has been great. they have always seemed to recruit the friendliest instructors that know the dive sites. In 2013 you dove Ni hau. We saw monk seals, a 6 - 8 foot Reef Shark, an octopus, a hung eel (gargantuan better describes the enormity of the eel, got awesome video of Ryan feeding it a fish he hand found), and countless other wild life.
