Repair Fraud Repair Fraud Seasons Heating of Gurnee called me offering furnace cleaning at half price. The technician told me the heat exchanger had a crack in it and needed to be replaced. I didn't believe it because the heat exchanger was replaced 4 years ago under warranty. I called my normal furnace service company, Command Service. Their technician let me watch as he completed a boroscope video camera inspection of the heat exchanger interior. He reported a little rust but no cracks or holes.
