I've only had one appointment so far with Ashlyn, and I was happy with it. Unlike other therapy rooms, this room was warm and welcoming. There was a rocking chair, and a couch, and flowers and a window letting in natural light. I was able to be completely comfortable in my surroundings. Ashlyn maintained eye contact the entire time and I felt heard, even though it was just an intake session.
Unless your white Middle class woman, you’ll barely get a consistent session and they will move your time for other people. Another friend of mine (Another minority) he experienced the same things with them. I tried all therapist besides one and came to conclusion these people don’t truly know how understand a broken person.
