I wish I could give 0 stars. Please research the issues with these homes!!! I'd be happy to share the issues that I've experienced as well as neighbors have experienced. Not even one year in and I have structural issues, drainage and grading issues uncovered code violations, etc. $500k for a house we can't even enjoy.
I was initially excited about a new build by Richmond American Homes, but after speaking with neighbors and a local home inspector, I quickly changed my mind. Multiple homeowners reported significant issues, including mold, lot grade, water leaks, and poor workmanship as well as lot drainage. Our initial visit to the community a few months ago left us impressed with the sales offer. However, our experience since then has been somewhat mixed. The sales team and construction management team were professional and courteous throughout the process. However, we recommend obtaining written documentation for any agreements made during the sale.
