Seasons installed a new system for me a year ago, September 2021. At the time, I was satisfied, but after a year, my overflow drain started leaking, a lot. I called for service and the technicians arrived quickly and addressed the problem. (Notice I did not say "fixed.") I was taken aback when the bill for a 20-minute call was $400, but I swallowed hard and paid up. I called them to complain about the price but made no headway. I've been a Seasons customer for many years and they have been excellent at regular maintenance plus repairs when needed. What is most impressive is that the owner (Jim) clls back in under 15 minutes even on a Sunday and answered questions during the February freeze.
The quote I received for the full replacement of my central A/C and heating system for a 3 bedroom 2260sqft home: 1. 5 Ton 16 seer Comfortmaker condenser 2. gas furnace 3 .evp coil 4. drain pan drain lines float switch media filter pro t-stat uv light surge protector 10 yr part warranty 1 yr labor $8995 a 10 yr labor warranty $1195 My response to them: This "quote" shows a complete lack of professionalism, expertise and knowledge regarding home air conditioning and heating systems. Do not stand behind their service and products they sale/install. On 5-27-18 Seasons replaced the fan motor on the outside condenser at my home. They installed a Azure digital motor with surge protector. The total charge for parts, labor and service charge was $759.90. On 6-18-19 and only one summer of use the Azure motor stopped working ( it was locked up and humming). The same service tech who originally installed the motor came out and said he had to reprogram the motor and recommended a surge protector for $280.00. I hav... read more
