My boyfriend and I have dined at this restaurant several times and have always had a great experience, until our visit last night. Unfortunately, we left feeling as though we were being treated differently, possibly due to our age, which was disappointing given the quality we’ve come to expect here. Wonderful place
This restaurant can best be described as a CISCO Food Service “heat-and-serve”. Most of the food is precooked then thrown into an oven to reheat it. The ingredients do not blend and toppings and sauces do not caramelize. Brussels sprouts were served in a sizzling hot cost iron skillet but were lukewarm with the merest drizzling of balsamic. The waitress said they are usually better because they are cooked in advance to make sure they are crispy. Then reheated in the oven and then drizzled so they are hot.
