Do not use them especially through VrBO. I rented a house and the septic tank leaked and smelled awful 4 days into a week stay. We let them know and curtailed activities related to personal grooming, bathroom use, laundry so as not to aggravate the matter. We could not sit on porch at this beach house due to stench and they did nothing about this - no apology, no discount nothing.
