RecommendedWe randomly went to Seascapes one day looking for fish... we happened to see three rabbits that were just too adorable to leave behind. i purchased our first rabbit, went back for fish and of course, couldn’t bare to leave his brother by himself. It’s been the best year as a Bunny parent ! Our rabbits are extremely healthy and have been since the day we purchased them. we have not had a single issue with either rabbit in any manner. Grateful and completely trusting of this company.
Back in April sold me a betta, told me betta was a young health fish. I questioned that because he looked so large and was very very cheap. I was assured he was young. 4 months later he went blind then 2 month after that he died from Dropsy. Which is contracted only by ill, weak or old fish. Test my water weekly as well as clean and change. I’m on RO well water. Tanks are cycled so it wasn’t my care. All my other betta are happy and healthy. So months go by and I decided to go back in. The only person at this store that is good is the owner. The staff is rude and dismissive. They literally shove past you. Treat you like you’re stupid for even asking a question. Tell you that you’re wasting your time if you are trying to make a tank for a betta. Their birds and small animals are in terrible condition. Dylan is at his first job and has social anxiety issues. We are working with him on that. Our birds and small animals and reptiles are in great condition and are cared for greatly. Lovely people, healthy fish in a wide variety, and all the fish keeping and care advice you could ask for. It’s my go to place.
We took adventures south about an hour from home and discovered this great store! Alissa (i think this is how she spells her name) is really awesome, she was appropriately distant given the current covid-19 guidelines but was also available for any questions we had; and we had many! The level of care and explanation was second to none. We will be back to shop here again, the hour plus drive was no issue, the fish was double bagged and topped off with oxygen to ensure it was good for a long time. They are very knowledgeable and have a great selection. They have saltwater species you won’t find in most stores. It’s worth the trip!
They have a wonderful selection of animals, salt water & freshwater fish galore, they also appear to have near impeccable care of the reptiles they sell and the birds they carry are all usually so sweet and loving. Not to mention it's always good to greet their sweet cat who is likely napping around. My only complaint is a decent sized amount of the freshwater tanks are overcrowded but at the very least the water is still very clean and every time I've gone I've never seen dead fish, just small tanks for quite a few fishies.... read more
