Don’t go here! 100% rip-off on DieHard. Won’t replace a faulty battery bought less than two years ago still under warranty without testing it for $20 a go at it. Already ripped me off $40 for that test and wanted another $20 this time. Contacting the Maine AG’s office about this 1/2/18! Con artist! Should have known better than to do business with Sears and DieHard!
I loved it there till tonight I realized my car only has air conditioning. It's a 2015 and when i went in for a tire rotation the stupid kid at the desk told me I NEEDED a coolant flush (150 buck upsell) which just came to my knowledge that it doesn't need it for five years! So they flushed it and they didn't even refill it! You can tell they spilled it everywhere because it stinks! they screwed me over and I will never return unless it's to demand my money back.
When I call and tell you what kind of car we have, don't tell me they didn't make that car. In case you need to know the part # for the batter for my XC70 is #02850848000P and model #50848. They damn sure did make that car in 2001. There is nothing I hate more than being treated like I don't know what I'm talking about. Pretty sure I know the cars in my driveway. Amazing service especially by Bill - impressed by his knowledge and automotive sagacity. Wound up having to change our selection of tires but they gave us an upgrade to make up for it. They were excellent at explaining what was actually wrong with the car and what was starting to wear down. Excellent service! Will come back here! Took a while to work all through that but it's worth the wait.
