Please be advised to never sign up for a Sears Home Warranty contract. I have spent over 2 hours trying to reach someone about the Sears repair service I had done yesterday afternoon. Not only did the svc. tech. fail to fix the problem, but it was made worse. I have been given the run around by the customer svc. dept. ph. numbers I have been told to call. Still no satisfaction. Technician arrived as scheduled communicated his time frame. He was thorough and explained the issue with both my washer and dryer. He gave tips for owner maintenance and was very professional and courteous. I had a great experience and service was also completed same day which was a blessing!
The first tech did not order all parts based on his diagnostics. My rate of 5 star is because of the second tech named Jimmy. He did an excellent job - the old part (supposed to be replaced by a new one) was re-invented to make it work. He assured me that it will work for a good period of time. Our dryer is now working like new.
Horrible experience. Not only do the techs take forever to schedule you but when they finally came to look at our dishwasher they said it wasn't broken. Then i explained to them what was broken and then i suddenly needed a new motor. Ordered that and came in a week. Waited 3 weeks for them to come back and install it. Installed it with all the old seals and gaskets when they knew they shouldn't but they didn't have any new ones. We tried the dishwasher and it leaked. Had to wait another 3 weeks for them to come back and say ... read more

Sears and A & E Factory Repairs are THE WORST. Do not buy anything from Sears that involves appliance repair. I wish there was a negative 10 star rating for both Sears appliance call center and A & E Factory Repairs, as that would be appropriate. My washer is 4 months old and has never worked right. Four days after it was delivered, I had the repair guy out. He was CLUELESS. 50 minutes after he arrived, he is still reading through the repair manual on his phone and calling his base company. Responsive, Nice, on time, and Trustworthy. He is incredibly skilled at fixing appliances. I think his main motivation is that he likes helping people. I've now permanently switched from Metro Appliance (who were good) to Costa Mesa Appliance Repair (who is great). Highly recommend to give Costa Mesa Appliance Repair a call first before giving any manufacture a call.
This is the most honest knowledgeable, honest. And after he looked over my fridge, he provided a no-hassle repair cost estimate. He repaired the fridge in an hour. I will certainly recommend him to friends and family.
This was by far the best experience. He came, assessed the problem, told me that he'll go and get the part immediately and showed up 4 hours later with the fix to my fridge. I will most certainly be returning to them, Thanks!
