Alex provided no service. After waiting one week for service on our AC, with Sears Home Services cancelling on three separate occasions, once an hour and a half after the scheduled time, Alex arrived to say he didn’t have a ladder to get to the second story! If Sears had the faintest idea of the trauma they caused, the upstairs thermostat reaching 98 degrees, they would be apologizing instead of asking to fill out a survey!
One star maybe too high for this company! After three cancellations over a period of seven days, Alex arrives to tell us he doesn’t have a ladder to service the upper AC unit! The upstairs thermostat has reached 98 degrees and the company thinks it can run a business using a robot to answer the phone!! When you do reach a human, you get meaningless platitudes! Consumer Affairs lists 524 reviews for the warranty division, 97% of which are one star. The repair department is no better! Be warned!

James had an excellent understanding of our refrigerator problem. Also, he was a very pleasant person. Even though James did excellent work, Sears was extremely negligent in that it took nearly 6 weeks to receive the part (compressor). I called Whirlpool parts and they verified that the compressor needed was and had been available for the entire time. Seems that Sears simply was not interested in ordering the compressor and really did not care about the customer.
