On time, in budget, knowledgeable and quick repair. This is an expensive way to get service, probably a local repairman would be more economical, especially if you don't mind ordering or picking up parts yourself.

The first serviceman ordered and charged us for $1500 worth of parts saying the compressor was the problem. The next two servicemen who showed up to install the parts said there was nothing wrong with the compressor and the problem was a corroded tube and the fridge was still under warranty and we should not have been charged for parts. The next two who showed up (we have had four different servicemen) installed the tube and departed saying all was ok and the fridge would be good in 24 hours.. if not call Sears and they woul... read more

I was satisfied with the service man. I was not happy about the time frame for the technician to arrive at my house. 8am to 5pm. I wasted a complete day waiting. I think that Sears should be able to come up with a two hour window. I asked the technician and he said that there are only two technicians in a 100 mile area.

Well on this, their 9th time working on the same dryer, I got a whole 8 days of use out of it before it broke once again. RUN from any Sears appliance you see. Not only do they break easily, no one seems to be able to fix them.
