Horrible service. From the person answering the phones to the repairman all they were interested in was to sell me a $600/year warranty rather than repair my 4 year old kenmore elite refrigerator. Called on a Monday and they said it would be Friday before they could come out. After they came out they said compressor had failed and would order parts and they would be shipped to me. Our Sears Washing machine has been repaired 6 times in the last 2 months and now is broken again. My wife is 77 years old and the stress is about to kill her. We need to get some help with a new machine. We have a service policy but they don't seem to be able to fix it. Please give us some help so we can start washing clothes again. My Craftsman yard tractor, which was only on it's 3rd year, had the weld break that attached the mower deck to the tractor. APPARENTLY this is quite common since the deck material is so thin. Sears could fix this by welding an "L" bracket to the current mount to increase the strength and a cross brace which would amount to less than a $2 increase in production cost versus an $1100 + repair, which if you don't keep your machine clean they will deny your claim!
