I would like to let everyone know that the Sears technician who came to our home was the paragon of professionalism. He was a very tall man named Michael. This man tore through our dryer with the skill of a surgeon, never once complaining about the small and confined space the dryer occupied or the room where he was working (no air conditioning - it was 90+ degrees with high humidity). Have a dishwasher with an infrequent leak. Took photos of the leak to show the tech. Tech arrived on time and looked at the dishwasher and said we were using too much detergent. I told him that the last Sears tech said the same thing and so recommended we use detergent "pods" to avoid oversudsing, so that wasn't the problem. He couldn't find the problem, then tried to charge me for not only the diagnosis (which has not truly been diagnosed), but a remedy (oversudsing) which did not provide a remedy. Called. Was on time. Did a great job vacuuming and fixing our dryer at a reasonable cost, which he advised of prior to starting the work.
first of all,he did't introduce to me.I didn't even know his name.After that he talk to me about the money.He asked me whether I have the money to pay.I know the that I have to pay for the diagnostic service which is $79 .And my washing machine is like new,it's only two and half year old. i know its not a big deal. He looks at the washing machine and try to check the water pipe and than he try to look at filter. There was a stocking struck in that filter.He told me to pull that stocking.I pulled the stocking from the filter ... read more
Always find what I want in the store and are very accommodating with any questions. The repair man was very good, he reviewed the repairs he was doing and explaining what happened to the switches and why they needed to be replaced. Answered all my questions.
The service was excellent. I was kept informed as to when he would arrive. He was friendly and very knowledgeable even about my 12 year old Kenmore Elite Washer. It was repaired quickly and with no mess! I would certainly recommend Sears Appliance Repair.
POOR RESPONSE WHEN TRYING TO DECIPHER WHAT THE TEC WROTE ON THE RECEIPT. MANY ATTEMPTS MADE TO FIND OUT WHAT HE COULD NOT DO AND THE TEC NEVER RETURNED ANY CALLS AFTER LEAVING SEVERAL REQUESTS OVER A PERIOD OF ONE WEEK.
The technician was terrific. He was prompt, polite and very neat. He was a friendly true professional who knew what he was doing. We were having company for dinner and he was able to work around his. He was so friendly he felt like family and he fixed our microwave in 1 visit. Sears you have a gem in this technician. Dennis
I've had a blanket coverage plan for all of my appliances for years! You can't beat the price and any repairs that have been done on them are always efficient and done in a timely manner. As far as the repiarmen themselves, I rate them 10 stars! Always, friendly, helpful and knowlegable in any repair problem they are faced with! Highly recommend Sears Repair and their competent field of repairmen!
