i bought Kenmore refrigerator from Sears in July 2018, but compressor down in Feb 2021, Sears told me compressor is under 10 years warrantee, but finally, they charge me $802 for replace the compressor, they said the other parts for replace compressor and labor are not under warrantee. Do you believe $800 labor to replace compressor?
I was getting a puddle of water on top of the freezer door, from the fridge. The tech came out and said we needed new fridge door gaskets, and ordered them. We received them, reached out with no response. Reached out to the tech again a week later, they came out to switch out the gasket/door seals. The problem is still happening. The tech told us we are "not closing the doors right" and it's user error. I find it interesting that the fridge is 5 years old and this problem took almost 4 and a half years to start happening....... read more
I tried to schedule appt for 2 appliances, online and by phone, BOTH UNSUCCESSFULLY! So displeased...
Repairmen have come out 5 times for the freezer compartment in my Whirlpool refrigerator that wasn't defrosting and a refrigerator that wasn't down to temp. In Feb one said it couldn't be repaired because my garage got too cold and closed my case. It still didn't defrost in warm weather so in July a different repairman came. He diagnosed and ordered parts which took 7 weeks! Good thing this wasn’t my only refrigerator.
