I just finished over a decade with Seaport at the Brawner building and I consider myself remarkably lucky to have lived here. The whole team from Cheryl to Becca, Lindsay, and Emely made my time feel personal and communal. In world full of Bozzutos and AMLIs, companies like Seaport Properties are a rare place where you can still feel like you are part of a community, not just another number on a long list of tenants.

As a first-time business owner securing my own space, I was truly excited to take on this location in Alexandria. Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. After signing the lease, I quickly realized the surrounding tenants were not welcoming. Several spoke to me in rude and disrespectful ways, which made the environment uncomfortable. Original post: I recently concluded renting with Seaport Properties after 5 years. Cheryl, Lindsay, and the team are fair and patient, and though we may not have always seen eye to eye on matters, it is very clear that Seaport Properties errs on the side of their tenants. When my old home came up for rent again, Cheryl helped me with the landlord of where I was living in Del Ray to end my lease there and transition smoothly to my home in Belle View. This place is EXTREMELY unprofessional. I jumped through hoops to get all documents over to them and was denied for my EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS. Which is fine because the place we were looking as was absolutely undone (blessing in disguise). I wasn’t going to write a review until I went to go pick up my 3.3k IN MONEY ORDERS. EMILY, was just so rude to me greeting me with “what do you want?” after she was on the phone talking about nonsense for 20 mins as I waited.
