I almost forgot to write a review because my knee feels so good! Dr. Sutphen is an excellent surgeon. My surgery in April went exactly as expected. He answered all my questions and concerns and explained my surgery very thoroughly. I'm so happy I chose Dr. Sutphen. His team is also fantastic - with a quick response to questions and help in making every detail go smoothly. I'm 6 months pot-op and after 2 months I felt like I had my life back. I'm able to everything I did before, but without pain!

Dr. Sutphen is not just a highly skilled physician and surgeon, but a warm, caring person filled with humanity. He and his staff made my minimally invasive robotic hip replacement easier to experience with even less discomfort and a shorter recovery than I had hoped. Professionalism and kindness are not always easy traits to find in medicine or any profession, yet Dr. Sutphen and his staff should be lauded for continually exhibiting both.
Dr. Sutphen is reassuring, explains the procedure completely, available for questions, and even called on successive nights after surgery to see how I was doing. His staff is thorough, very knowledgeable and reassuring as well. What I liked and appreciated is the extent to which I was explained what I would be experiencing after surgery and what was considered "normal." Definitely would recommend him if asked.
