I have been going to Village Square and Dr. McGrade for over 30 years. I always feel he takes the time to listen and explain what I need to do to stay healthy. He is a good Doctor who cares about his patients. I see lots of comments regarding the front desk staff...being in customer service I understand why some employees may seem less than happy at times. The general public can be mean and rough with the front desk in any business, just dont take it out on the next patient in line is my advice.The bottom line...do you trust... read more
Unfortunately, I’m leaving Dr. McGrade along with my son and husband due to Prohealths incorrect billing practices. All three of us went for physicals last year and Prohealth is billing the bloodwork as diagnostic instead of preventable. Therefore, I have to pay it under my deductible when it should be 100% covered. I have spoken to Prohealth and Sandy in the office numerous times over the last year and they have refused to change their codes even though they have admitted that it is an error on their end and they don’t know... read more
I've experienced some of what other reviewers complained about regarding the office staff in the past, but things are totally different now. Dr. McGrade's office has moved to a nearby location with all new staff who are very pleasant and the facility is much more modern. They also have someone who does blood draws in a separate space and results are available via their online service quickly. My experience with Dr. McGrade has always been excellent. Dr McGrade has been my doctor for about 20 years now. He has always been great about explaining any issues I might have, talks about what I should be doing for preventative care, and what I need to watch out for in the future. Staff is always professional and nice. It is great that when I call, they can get me in the next day.
