I would give him ZERO if I could. This is a long story. I was first referred to him because of an inflammatory flare the GP was trying to diagnose (initial thought was gout) , along with a shoulder specialist and spine specialist. I was told to start with him, sadly. Instead of taking fluid from my knee at that first appointment which any other doctor would have done, he made me set a new appointment 10 days later to come back for the extraction, knowing full well I was put on NSAIDS to reduce the inflammation. I have had 2 shoulder surgeries same shoulder by Dr Haslam. On May 26 2026 I have an appointment to see him again about another one on the same shoulder. This shoulder has been the most painful thing I've ever endured in my life. I missed an appt with him a year ago. I had to have emergency back surgery the day I was to see him. Then when I thought I was well enough in December to see him...no emergency 360 Cspine surgery. Dear GOD give me all the bubble wrap and get me to this man on the 26th !
Dr. Haslam is patient and listens to my concerns and plans.
