I had my 7-month post-knee appt. Dr. Amann, is such a polite, caring, and very understanding gentleman. Going from bone-on-bone with arthritis in my knee to 7 months later walking and pt at home. Thank you, Dr. Amann and staff
On September 2nd I was going to have my full Knee replacement. Just before the surgery Dr. Amann came and examined my knee. I had a little cut from the shaving razor so Dr. Amann postponed the surgery. He did not wanted to take any chances. Dr. Amann is truely a Genuinley caring doctor. Eventhough he had all his staff there and it costed him but he cared for me. He wanted no infection because of the cut. He is very humble and wants the best for his patients.
It took weeks to get an appointment. And now weeks to get a follow up appointment. All while my pain level was totally disregarded. The skill of the surgeon is yet to be determined, if I will be allowed to get there Follow up: The surgeon looked at x-ray for 15 seconds and did not care what I had to say. Second visit he listen and looked at the x-ray for a long time. That visit went well. But the front desk? 4 phone calls to get a prescription filled. Lots of friendly talk just to cover their incompetency.
Dr. Amann replaced my left knee four weeks ago and did such a great job that I am already feeling well enough to go for long walks. My flexion and extension are normal in such a short period of time. The entire team at the surgical center made me feel important and well taken care of. I am very thankful and feel fortunate to have Sean Amann as my surgeon! Many thanks to the entire staff.
