I started Step By Step Pediatrics because of the need to increase access and availability of pediatric services to the children and families in the Bloomfield community and its surrounding areas. My goal is to provide a higher quality of healthcare for the children in the community at every step from birth to adulthood. My vision is to create a true medical home where patients can always feel comfortable coming to see the doctor.

Dr. Flynn and his staff are very helpful and friendly.
He is very uneducated on breastfeeding and not very personable.
Dr.Flynn is the best doctor hands down my sons been going to him since I had them and there 14&11 he cares about his patients talks to them always gives my sons words of encouragement both my sons wanna be doctors and he definitely lets them know they will and can be a Successful Doctor like his self. We love him
My wife and I met Dr. Flynn at Clara Maass Hospital the day I gave birth to her. Immediately, I knew I wanted him to be her pediatrician. His professional demeanor with patients is exceptional. Being a first time mom, I appreciate his willingness to answer every question (and there are TONS), as well as his detailed responses. I love how much time he spends with each patient individually, because he genuinely cares. Mallet (?), his medical assistant, is exceptional as well!
I highly recommend Dr Flynn he's been my daughters dr since he started his career and I wouldn't have it any other way.. I'm currently plannning on a move and I'm so afraid I will not find a great provider for my children.. so if your looking for a dr I strongly recommend you look no further because a dr like him is extremely hard to find..
The nurse was friendly. Dr Flynn seems like a really nice guy. I've been there once for the first time for my teenage daughter. I thought he was really good. But the wait time was kind of long, but of course it was our first time visit. So I guess that's to be expected and the nurse did apologize for the long wait. I appreciate it.
