Had a differential grenade on a Mazda cx-5 w/74000 mi that was a lease through them that we then bought, which was originally covered under their certified pre-owned warranty. Upon them removing the differential they said they found an alteration to a sensor that shows “outside influence” so it’s no longer covered. Beware of significant upselling in the service department. Checklists of services at designated miles (15k, 20k, etc), which are presented to customers when they enter for service, are NOT Mazda factory recommendations nor requirements. They are third party advertisements presented by service writers as though they are official. Compare to Mazda’s corporate website, to official service manuals, and choose wisely. Remember, “Service Advisors” can be a misleading title and I’d imagine they are under pressure to sell.

She was told that she has the same rights and options when leasing as she does when purchasing. She had the right to sell it, trade it or keep it for the full term. At "NO" time throughout this entire process was I or my staff "RUDE" to her. She might not have liked the information she received about her options but never were we rude... read more
