Rented their Millbank property in Leucadia area. Arrived on Saturday for check-in. Immediately upon driving up, you couldn't help but notice the broken bamboo sticks sitting on the front walkway, along with someone's plastic cup, plus the walkway was covered in sand. Upon opening the front door and walking in, we were immediately concerned with how dirty the unit was. I only rated Seabreeze 1 star because 0 was not an available option. My 5 siblings and their spouses, ranging in age from 60 to 75, booked a rental home in La Jolla, California for the week of May 2 through Seabreeze Vacation Rentals. The full cost of the rental, slightly over $10,000, was paid in advance, as required. Due to the stay-at-home mandates in California and all 4 states we would be traveling from, as well as the health risk to ourselves, we felt we had to cancel our plans. If I could leave 0 stars for SeaBreeze Vacation Rentals it would be too many. They are appalling. Stay away from this company - they do not care. We booked a property back in May for the period of three months commencing 21 September an ending 12 December. We paid the requested deposit and later, in July, when requested the remaining balance. We rented this property having spoken directly to an agent about our stay and reasons for needing a property for so long. We were reassured by the agent that this property was a good ... read more

DO NOT BOOK unless you are absolutely, positively sure you will not have to reschedule. After having to postpone our stay in 2020 due to a postponed wedding (beyond our control) Seabreeze allowed us tp reschedule our stay. But, as we all know, Covid persisted.... and the wedding was pushed forward another year (again, beyond our control.) Now, Seabreeze refuses to let us change our reschedule again and refuses to return any of our $2,000. $2,000 is A LOT of money -- especially right now in this world we're living. DO NOT BOOK 1313 CHINQUAPIN CARLSBAD from SeaBreeze. I am VERY disappointed with the responsiveness and support received by SeaBreeze. I rented a property through their website. The property looked great, 4 bed 3 bath with spa kiddie pool and pool in Carslbad. 1313 Chinquapin. An hour before arrival I received an email letting me know that the heating system for the pool and spa was not working. Our group drove 8 hrs from the bay area to come and enjoy the home.
