If you like caustic chemicals in your sleeping quarters, then this place is for you! We walked into what can only be described as a Fabuloso gas chamber. We even paid for early check-in (lucky us!), left all the windows open, gave it 3 hours to "air out," and came back to the same purple fog of doom. When we politely asked for a refund, the hotel cheerfully informed us that the "Fabuloso Experience™" was non-refundable. Apparently, choking on chemicals is part of the amenity package. We loved this motel! A little skeptical from the reviews, but everything was perfect. We didn’t really care for the shower, you couldn’t help but get water everywhere lol It was clean, comfortable, had dishes that you could use, and walking distance from the beach, shops, and restaurants! It has a nice pool and animal friendly! We will definitely be coming back. 🩵

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the sea birds motel. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It’s just a short walk to Kure Beach pier, restaurants and an arcade. The beach access is just across the street. I was able to meet the owner and she is just precious. You check in on your own but they stay close contact with you through text to make sure you have everything you need. We will definitely be back soon.

We booked this place last minute so it was kind of pricey but we loved the fact they accept pets and that had a little kitchen. The location was amazing, just a walk straight to Kure Beach and customer service was very good. Don’t expect luxury when you stay here but rooms were renovated and cozy, everything was cleaned and they provide enough coffee and towels. We had a great time! The only thing is that the sofa bed was not comfy at all so just I would only count with the beds!
