RecommendedI want to personally thank Gerald Shrimer for helping us last week. I was out with my good friend for a ride on his new boat last week when the engine stalled (faulty fuel line feed). We were heading back to the marina to avoid afternoon storms but by the time we were able to contact Sea Tow, the storm was looming too close. Gerald came and towed us in through a deluge. Sea Tow here in Sarasota is the best towing service around. I've been working on my motor and wound up broken down on the water 2 days in a row after finding out I had bad gas. Captain Dave was awesome. I highly recommend their services if you are in a tough spot on the water.
We’ve had a Sea Tow membership for many years, and have been fortunate enough to not need their services...until today. Many thanks to Capt. Elas Wallace for rescuing us today from Passage Key after our engine wouldn’t start. It was a smooth tow back to our home dock, and Capt. Elas was professional, personable, and a first class representation of experienced seamanship. We will ALWAYS be Sea Tow members as long as we have a boat.
