RecommendedOne word Gumbo! Oh the raw oysters are great also.
We have been going to Sea N Suds for as long as I can remember, the staff is always friendly and eager to please. We always look forward to our meal there. Never have we had a bad experience there until last week. The menus has changed so much. No fried mushrooms or cheese sticks!! The oyster sandwich was awful. That is my all time favorite and I couldn’t even eat it😭 The shrimp sandwich wasn’t any better and they were always the best! Please bring back the old menu!! We don’t have some of our usual menu items right now because we are having issues keeping things in stock with some vendors due to Covid. We are working hard to get our menu back to where it was before everything was shut down. Also, one of our long time vendors we have used for years went out of business recently and we are currently trying a new vendor for certain staple items in our menu like the shrimp sandwich! Fantastic food, excellent views and atmosphere, great service all the way from the waiters to the busboys!
We are locals and went last week for lunch. Maybe you guys should have waited about reopening until you were ready. The waitress had no idea what she was doing, and the food was not good at all. We try to eat there as much as possible, but its going to be while before we come back. Very disappointed this time. Also I ordered a dozen raw oysters, some were about the size of a dime and none were shucked from the shell.

outside bar served a terrible drink. waited forever for a server after we were seated. food was just ok. not worth it with so many other places to eat

The seafood platter was not seasoned at all and the portion for the price was not enough on the plate. The fried pickles were not good. The only thing I would recommend was the seafood gumbo.
