I took my son to the clinic today and we saw Dr. Shane Dunaway. They took a Covid swab and throat swab to rule out Covid, influenza, and strep. The doctor was very dismissive and suggesting that my son had the common cold and to give him Tylenol, soup, and fluids. He goes to check the labs on the swabs and my son’s results showed he tested positive for Covid. Dr. Dunaway prescribed him the antiviral medicine paxlovid. Might as well show up to your appointment 30 minutes late. You’ll still be waiting and when you ask them, what’s taking so long they say they have clients in the back. That’s taking a little longer when there’s no one in the lobby.
My provider is Jane Takeda, NP, and she has been excellent. I've been to this clinic 3 or 4 times now, and its has gone smoothly. The staff at the front were professional, I was seen in a timely manner, and Jane is very knowledgeable and has a great demeanor.
