During my intake, I believed it hard to answer certain questions because they were upsetting. When I told my counselor this she proceeded to ask me how they were hard to answer and basically asked if I just didnt want to do the intake. I was made to feel as if I wasnt believed by her even when I went through very traumatic childhood events. Lauralee Peterson was my therapist when I was 13 and though, perhaps, she's improved by now, she traumatized me. I grew up with physically and emotionally abusive parents and I believe she noticed this, considering she told them she wanted to report them to CPS but decided against it. I don't think I need to explain why that's something you should never tell an unstable, abusive parent. And Lauralee? You should have reported them.
